What is Endless Aimless?
The first short tagline I used was: “I don’t know what I’m doing.”
That (correctly) might sound pithy and falsely self-deprecating, but it’s also the truth. An eternal truth. I spent my 20s speaking with and learning from 10s of 1000s of infinitely-talented artists.
I loved it.
For me, a huge part of that work was hearing first-hand the perspectives and experiences of people with a similar worldview to mine, who are exposed to people and situations beyond my reach.
They helped me figure myself out (still an incomplete process). It was like reading but so much more intense. I was doing the writing, researching and thinking as well.
I miss it.
So I’m doing it again. I’m talking to people of interest who I think are interesting people. I’m doing it primarily for myself, but also for you. I can’t promise the weekly profile that I intend, but it’ll be regular and ongoing.
Either way, I really hope you enjoy it.
Why subscribe?
It’s free, so why not?
Anything else?
I have another free publication called Running Sucks.
Again, it might sound callous and throwaway, but it’s an exercise in mindfulness; about thinking. I run a lot, so I have a lot of time to think about it. I even got a running coaching qualification from the USATF - the guys in charge of the Olympics team. Why not?
It’s what I do. Maybe you can enjoy that as well.
Thanks for reading this far.
See you soon
